The Bruce

So this is the update to this week's painting challenge for our Discord hobby group. The Bruce is complete. While I'm generally pleased, as always, there's room for improvement. Still though, its always a pleasure painting classic Bretonnian models.

I typically break modelling and miniatures projects into sub assemblies where possible, In this case mount, shield and rider were treated separately.

Intermediate stage. I usually start with the messy stuff first, then block in the theme colors and slowly refine from there.

The completed king of the Scots! Now on to planning next week's projects!
